What is Bitcoin Halving?

The total supply of Bitcoin is 21 million. The distribution of Bitcoin is achieved through mining. Out of the 21 million, about 19.45 million are in circulation already. It is estimated that the remaining Bitcoins will continue to be mined until the year 2140.
